State law enforcement agencies are looking for a few good men... er, dogs.
Canines from Colorado and Kansas trained over the weekend to become certified police officers.
Human officers train their 4-legged partners for hundreds of hours before they go through a grueling certification weekend.
Officer Sean Giddings of the Fort Collins Police Department says the canines do require a lot of maintenance but it's nothing these officers howl about.
"Being able to take your best friend to work with you and watch him perform, it's great. He's with you all the time, 24/7."
Unfortunately, not all the dogs passed. Out of the 19, eighteen were certified.
