A father's love. Gut-wrenching testimony by the father of a teenager charged with killing his own grandmother.
Prosecutors called Michael Paul to the stand Friday to testify in a preliminary hearing for his 15 year-old son Christopher.
He is being charged as an adult with 1st degree murder in the shooting death of his grandmother in April.
Prosecutors say Christopher, then, a freshman at Lewis-Palmer High School, shot his grandmother in her sleep to avoid the embarrassment of her taking him to school.
His preliminary hearing resumes July 28th. He faces a mandatory life sentence without parole if convicted.
