Did the University of Colorado's football team hire women for sex? Employees of a Broomfield escort service say "yes".
Best Variety says they charged $250 an hour to perform sexual services to what they recall as "very young, very athletic men". They say they were hired several times in the fall of 2002 by the school's football recruiting assistant, Nathan Maxcey.
Maxcey claims he hired them for his own use and never for players or recruits.
School officials refuse to discuss the issue, which was filed as an affidavit in federal court Wednesday. It is now the center of a grand jury investigation.
