Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Tough times for the Bush re-election campaign? A new survey says "yes."
A Denver Post poll shows President Bush is vulnerable in a state that has, historically, voted Republican.
Forty-eight percent of the voters support Bush while 43 percent support John Kerry. An additional 6 percent are undecided, enough to tip the election for either candidate.
Only 43 percent say they approve the President's handling of Iraq but the President gets more support in the war on terrorism with 53 percent approval. Finally, 46 percent say Bush would do a better job at handling the economy.
