Wildfire Health Concerns

Smoke from the Hayman Wildfire is filling the air across the Front Range and Southern Colorado. Many people have called 911, reporting smoke and complaining of breathing problems.

Some Springs daycares are keeping children inside if they have asthma.

Here are some things you can do to protect your lungs from the smoky air:
Stay Inside
Continue taking medication as prescribed by your doctor
If you need to go outside, cover your nose and mouth with a wet cloth
Avoid exercising outside
