Family Loses Home in Fire
A Rye family is now homeless after their house burned to the ground on Saturday afternoon.

A Rye family is now homeless after their house burned to the ground on Saturday afternoon.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was caused by a faulty propane heater. It happened on Suzie Drive in Rye, and was started at around noon on Saturday. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the home. The Sheriff’s Office says the building is a total loss.
The family was not home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries.
