A case of road rage goes too far after two men pull a gun and begin shooting at another car in broad daylight.
It happened Sunday afternoon just before 5:00 p.m. The victim says he was on his way to pick up his son, heading south down Chelton when a vehicle came tearing out of a 7-11 at Fountain.
“The guy came around the car, he showed me the gun, and he pointed the gun at me,” said the victim.
He says words were exchanged and before he knew it the man began shooting. That’s when the victim called 9-1-1, and it was all caught on tape.
“He's coming up at me now, I'm getting shot at, he just shot out my back window, he just shot out my back window,” the victim said to the 9-1-1 dispatcher.
The shooting happened near Academy and Chelton, leaving the victim’s vehicle riddled with bullet holes. The victim says then he saw the shooter turn off just past Academy and Chelton.
The vehicle was located by police shorlty after unoccupied.
The suspects are still on the loose.
The victim described the driver as a black male, in his early twenties with short hair and a gold grill on his teeth.
The passenger was described as in his early twenties, with dread locks, two ponytails and a goatee with no mustache.
