More hot weather is in store today on the Front Range and Eastern Plains, with temperatures reaching toward 100 degrees.

Colorado Springs' high for Monday is expected to be 91degrees, while Pueblo could see 98 degrees.

Sunday, Denver set a new record when the temperature reached 100 degrees at the airport, beating the record from 1988 by one degree.

Temperatures will also be above normal today in the mountains and the National Weather Service says the fire danger continues to be elevated in some parts of the High Country.

A cool front is expected to move into the state tomorrow, which could drop temperatures to the low 80s in the Denver area.
