As rain and snow pulls away from the I-25 Corridor this morning, our main concern is fog, which could be dense in spots through the morning commute. Roads are of lesser concern, as most should simply be wet. However, secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth could be a bit slick, so please be careful. The man who went on a rampage in an armored bulldozer is found dead.
Muffler shop owner Marvin Heemeyer tore through at least a dozen buildings Friday afternoon in the town of Granby including the city hall and library.
Police say they found Heemeyer this morning, dead after shooting himself.
Heemeyer modified the D-9 caterpillar bulldozer with armor said to be as thick as 12 inches.
Officials say the rampage was inspired by Heemeyer's anger over zoning restrictions around his shop.
