Colorado State Troopers had to call out a snowplow to push cans of Pepsi off the road Wednesday morning after a truck crashed on northbound I-25.
Troopers say the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. between Stem Beach and Colorado City near milemarker 83. The crash closed northbound I-25 for a couple of hours, but troopers were able to get traffic around the truck.
The truck driver was an independent contractor that worked for a company called Fackler (spelling corrected), out of Colorado Springs. He reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, causing the accident. He was not seriously injured. He was treated at the scene.
A Pepsi distributing center recently closed in Pueblo. The driver of the truck was making the trip from Denver overnight Wednesday.

Yes, I heard the whole story from both of the people he had called. He must have smacked his head pretty good because that's not normal for him. I have - along with everyone else he knows - alreay chewed him a new one for that move.
Well I bet if he was still there at the accident scene when State Patrol showed up, then they would know what happenned. He left and did not report the accident. State Patrol spent a lot of time looking for him and at first they thought he was dead, under the truck. He called friends to come pick him up but not the police.
He swerved to miss 2 dear in the road and overcorected.
