The crash happened about one o'clock yesterday afternoon near

Clean-up and repair crews say it's taking longer to reopen the
highway than first thought.

The tanker was carrying 85-hundred gallons of gasoline when the
driver lost control on a sharp, left-hand curve and rolled over.

The driver, Jose Herrera of Centennial, was killed.

Authorities say Herrera was driving for Omaha-based Iowa
Tanklines and was headed toward Denver when the accident occurred.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says the highway won't
completely reopen until at least ten p.m. Friday night.
