Police are looking for a suspect in a Walgreens store robbery in Colorado Springs Sunday. It's not clear yet if this crime and another Walgreens robbery this weekend are connected.

The latest Walgreens to be hit was just after 6 p.m. Sunday at 4713 Flintridge Drive.

Police say in this incident, a white man, in his late-teens or early twenties wore a dark, zip-up sweatshirt, a green shirt and blue jeans. Sunday, witnesses told police that the suspect demanded money, and that no weapon was seen.

Saturday, another Walgreens store in Colorado Springs was hit by a suspect with a similar description. The Walgreens at 6011 Rangewood Drive was robbed around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Once again, in this instance, it was a white male who acted alone. Witness description shows the suspect as being in his 20’s, about 5’10”, with a thin build. Saturday's suspect wore a long black overcoat, hooded sweatshirt , blue jeans and a plaid scarf

The suspect never showed a gun to the clerk in Saturday's robbery, but still acted as if he had one.

In both cases, the suspects fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. If you know anything about either robbery, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. Your anonymous tip could earn you a cash reward.
