Rain & snow showers are expected to continue, mainly along the I-25 corridor, throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations are expected, though minor areas such as Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Moisture looks to move out of the area by the morning commute, though roads may be slick/wet. A tornado in Elbert County has destroyed a farm house and barn Monday night. Despite being homeless, the family of four is unharmed.
Elbert County Sheriff Bill Frangis says at least six tornadoes touched down in the county. He says they knocked out electric power from the town of Simla north to Interstate 70. Earlier in the evening twisters touched down just south of the Wyoming border in Weld County and north of Limon.
