Tainted Beef

(Denver-AP) -- State health officials say four additional
grocery stores in Colorado have been found to have sold beef
tainted with E-coli -- and are part of the nationwide recall by
ConAgra Beef Company.
Consumers who purchased beef at the following stores should
immediately discard the meat: Big T Supermarket in Denver purchased
between April 12th and July 29th, Hudson Locker purchased between
May seventh and June sixth, Ellicott General Store between April
12th and July 17th and at L-and-I Market in Evans purchased between
April 30th and July 17th.
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment officials
say the additional stores were identified through an investigation
after ConAgra released a recall distribution list.
Officials believe at least 38 people became ill after eating
ground beef that originated at the plant.
