Armed robbers are on the loose. They walked into a Starbuck’s off of Woodmen and Academy and demanded cash around 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon.

Colorado Springs Police say the 3 men walked in with guns and ordered everyone to hit the ground. Cops say one man ran into the back of the store and fired his gun at the ceiling. No one was hurt. The 3 men ran out with cash.

Witnesses say they were shocked that the Starbucks was robbed in broad daylight.

Police describe the suspects as 3 black males, wearing dark clothing. Police are looking at surveillance video to see if they can get a better description.

Armed robberies are a growing problem in the Springs. The city averages 2 a day.

i agree with the previous statement, for the drop outs that are roaming the streets during the day and night with nothing to do tend to be problematic in this society

I think I may know what's going on. I am a very patriotic American, kinda right-wing, pro-all the Amendments to our Constitution, anti-tax, anti-big government, VERY pro-law and order, etc. Unfortunately, drugs, illegals, fractured family values (oops, did I say that!?), light sentences, liberalism on all fronts, lack of father figures, 1,000,000 Black and Hispanic students dropping out of school each year....blah, blah, blah!! Do we really need to try to understand why anti-societal individuals don't hesitate to hurt and destroy themselves as well as others...??? This anti-"politically correct" stance will probably upset many people yet they may just not want to acknowledge the facts, at least in my mind. God Bless the USA!
