A man suspected of breaking into a house that was for sale, showering there, doing laundry and putting his food in the refrigerator before the homeowner came home is being held on $50,000 bond.
Police in Golden say the homeowner came home Nov. 9 to find someone else's car in the garage.
Police say the homeowner, whose name wasn't released, found 24-year-old Timothy P. Gonzales of Golden in the house, wearing only underwear. He held Gonzales at gunpoint until police arrived.
Police say they found materials used to make methamphetamine on a work bench in the garage.
Gonzales was being held on suspicion of burglary, menacing, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
