Need to recycle your old computer?
For one day only, Goodwill has opened its doors to recycle old computers for free.
They're collecting at two different locations on Saturday Nov. 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The first location is at the Chapel Hills Mall in the southeast parking lot and the second location is at the Citadel Mall in the northwest parking lot.
You can also drop off your old electronics at its donation locations.
The donation drive is part of Reconnect which is a partnership with Dell. They provide an easy, safe and responsible way for the public to recycle used computer equipment.
Donors will receive a tax receipt for dropping off any brand of used computer equipment in any condition.
Proceeds from donated computers support Goodwill's mission of helping people with disabilities become independent.
Clothing donations will also be accepted.
For a list of donation sites, contact Goodwill at 635-GIVE or www.goodwill-colosprings.org
