Bryant Case Update

Attorneys in the Kobe Bryant rape case opened a three-day hearing Monday with more closed-door arguments over whether the sex life of Bryant's 19-year-old accuser can be used against her at trial.

Former boyfriend Johnray Strickland and Eagle County sheriff's Detective Doug Winters were among those called to testify. Strickland met the woman last year at the University of Northern Colorado.

The defense says injuries found on the woman could have been caused by sex with multiple partners before and after her encounter
with Bryant.

The prosecution says the woman's sexual history is irrelevant in determining whether she was assaulted.

State District Judge Terry Ruckriegle says he wants to wrap up arguments this week on whether the woman's sexual history is relevant.
