An early Sunday morning washout means more good news for the state's water supply.
Recent snowstorms and rainfalls have pushed the South Platte and Arkansas River basins a few percentage points closer to average.
The National Resource Conservation Service says the South Platte Basin was at 76 percent of average as of Friday, up from about 72 percent before the storm.
The Arkansas River Basin snowpack rose from about 78 percent to about 84 percent of average.
The National Weather Service says the storm had its biggest impact in the mountains in southern Colorado, dropping about 3 feet of snow.
