Jurors in Grand Junction have begun deliberations in the murder trial of a man charged with killing his wife.
Michael Blagg is charged with first degree murder in theNovember 2001 shooting death of his wife, Jennifer. The couple's six year old daughter, Abby, is still missing and presumed dead.
Jurors received the case about 11:40 Thursday this morning, after defense attorneys wrapped up closing arguments.
Prosecutors say a mix of pride and humiliation drove Michael
Blagg to kill his wife and stage her disappearance.
Public Defender David Eisner says Blagg was arrested and charged
only because prosecutors didn't have anyone else to blame.
