The White House decides National Security advisor Condoleezza Rice will testify, in public and under oath, before the 9-11 commission.

The commission chairman is hoping Rice's testimony will resolve differences between the White House version of events before 9-11 and those from the administration's former counter terrorism Czar Richard Clarke.

President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney will also testify. Their testimony will not be under oath and they'll testify behind closed doors.
