A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect on Tuesday afternoon for most of Southern Colorado. Daytime heating and moisture will combine with a disturbance moving through Colorado to develop numerous thunderstorms. Any one of them will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain. Burn scars and areas that have seen recent heavy rain will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
The panel investigating the University of Colorado recruiting scandal has set up a Web site, e-mail address and phone number to help gather information from the public.
A message on the Web site warns that any correspondence could be
made public under the Colorado Open Records Act.
The seven-member commission is trying to get a change in the law so it can offer confidentiality.
Federal lawsuits have been filed by three women who allege they were raped by Colorado football players or recruits. The alleged
rapes took place at or just after a 2001 off-campus party. At least eight women have accused Colorado players or recruits of sexual assault since 1997.
