A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. The panel investigating the University of Colorado recruiting scandal has set up a Web site, e-mail address and phone number to help gather information from the public.
A message on the Web site warns that any correspondence could be
made public under the Colorado Open Records Act.
The seven-member commission is trying to get a change in the law so it can offer confidentiality.
Federal lawsuits have been filed by three women who allege they were raped by Colorado football players or recruits. The alleged
rapes took place at or just after a 2001 off-campus party. At least eight women have accused Colorado players or recruits of sexual assault since 1997.
