A rock slide that closed the westbound and eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 between Georgetown and Silver Plume Thursday morning has been cleared.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says all lanes closed
by the slide earlier Thursday have since reopened.
The slide occurred at about 1:15 this morning. No vehicles were caught in the slide, but a tractor-trailer crashed into the median trying to avoid the rolling boulders. The truck's fuel tank ruptured.
A C-DOT spokesman says the driver was not injured.
