The Colorado attorney general's office is suing a Colorado Springs mortgage company, its top loan originator and a managing general partner.
In a civil lawsuit filed this month in Fremont County District Court, prosecutors accuse April Bigler of Pueblo West of 15 violations of consumer protection laws. She is accused of misrepresenting the terms of loans she made, many of which ended up in foreclosure.
Managing general partner James W. Dale III of Pueblo West is accused of failing to enforce the company's policies. He is accused of nine violations of consumer protection laws. The company is accused of four.
The lawsuit seeks fines and restitution.
A call to the company for comment wasn't returned Tuesday.

I have worked with her before and never witnessed any of this that they are accussed of. Part of this is wrong. April has done over 400 loans at Alternative Lending alone and they found a problem with 21 of them. Ya gotta also remember that the 'problems' arent always that there wanst a full disclosure. Hey I understnad that times can be hard and millions of people in the US lost their homes and jobs. It's just not fair to blame something on your broker if you could pay for that house for over a year and now you can't anymore. Hey there are 3 sides to every story! Sorry I just think that to many people are looking to shift the blame. I budget my families bills and if I believe that we cannot afford a house, then we dont buy it!!! I wonder how many people walked away from closing at the table? Or recinded their loan? That is their right. That would have been the way to go to protect your family. You are the one writing the checks every month! That girl wouldn't hurt anyone!
Comment #2 made by, I believe, a real estate broker should not contain some of the terminology written. That brings the rest of us to the level of April Bigler, the defendant. If you can't make proper use of the english language, stay off of the site.
Their business name is/was Alternative Lending.
