Wednesday will offer more cloud cover and cooler temperatures. By later Wednesday afternoon, rain showers will develop across the Pikes Peak Region and slowly drift southward. Those rain showers will change to snow at higher elevations, and accumulations will be likely. At lower elevations, snow accumulation does not appear to be a big deal. It looks like there may be more watering days this summer for Colorado Springs Utilities customers.
Springs utilities is recommending to city council that people be allowed to water three times a week.
That's an improvement over the twice a week watering last year
If approved, residents with even addresses will be able to water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Residents with odd addresses will be able to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Springs City Council is expected to vote on the recommendation next
