The Colorado National Guard is helping authorities in Chaffee County search for a missing special needs man.
The 40-year-old man was on a bus traveling between Salida and
Gunnison yesterday. The bus pulled over near Monarch Pass for a short break and the man was last seen entering a nearby wooded area around 6 p.m. last night.
At 11:10 a.m. this morning two Colorado Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters with medical crews on board were launched from Buckley Air Force Base to help search for the man.

This man probably went into the woods to HIS JOB in private and the driver left without him...my opinion. This driver should be jailed for endangering the life of a special needs person. Shame on the people in charge of him. The story didn't say whether he was searched for or not. they should not have left without him..and these people in charge vote. that's dangerous.
