Two Grand Junction residents are behind bars, accused of having more than a two week supply of methamphetamine on them when arrested over the weekend.
Police arrested 45 year old Carl Garcia and 27 year old Jaime Perez after a traffic stop Saturday allegedly led officers to more than eleven grams of meth hidden inside a cigarette pack.
Authorities say they also found some small plastic bags, along with a glass pipe and marijuana inside the pair's Ford Explorer.
The two face charges of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
