A former Evergreen High School student is now facing criminal charges after an arson fire forced the building's evacuation.
But police say the unidentified 17-year-old was just goofing around, and did not set the blaze intentionally.
The fire broke out in the boys' locker room Tuesday morning, just as students were preparing to take the CSAP tests.
Authorities say they think the boy was able to get into the school because friends and teachers knew who he was.
The fire damage was contained to a few lockers.
The boy is now accused of criminal mischief and fourth-degree arson.
He's in the custody of relatives.
