Moderate snow continues to fall for some areas of northern El Paso and Teller Counties, accumulating in the grass and yards. Meanwhile, in the plains and along the southern I-25 stretch, light rain/snow mix continues. Take it slow on the roadways - due to VERY strong winds, we are seeing blowing dirt and snow (depending on the region), which is tremendously reducing visibility. Perhaps, it's time to issue Vice President Dick Cheney a frequent visitor's pass.
The Vice President will visit Colorado for the third time in five months... this time to raise money for Congressman Bob Beauprez in his re-election bid.
The seat has been gaining a lot of national attention because it is one of the country's top political battlegrounds.
Cheney is expected to arrive March 16th for a $2000 per plate dinner.
