Love the state fair? You may soon be able to help out by doing your taxes.
The speaker of the state House, Lola Spradley, is proposing a new income tax check-off that would allow taxpayers to contribute to the state fair.
Spradley says the move could create up to 200 thousand dollars per year to ease the fair's financial problems.
If the bill is passed, taxpayers would see an extra box on their Colorado state return forms.
