The city is considering keeping the rules until as late as 2008,
when a new pipeline delivering water from Pueblo is expected to be
built.
The city is trying to cut water use by 20 percent this summer.
So far, customers are using about 19 percent less water than last
year.
Meanwhile, the town of Fowler near Pueblo is relaxing water
restrictions because residents have cut water use by 70 percent.
Residents will now get one extra watering day a week.
