El Paso County Commissioner Jim Bensberg is defending himself against accusations of harassment from a former employee.
Shyla Tulley says Bensberg and Imad Karaki, a top manager in the planning department, both harassed her.
Officials are releasing few details of her claims, saying only they involve improper comments or actions.
Tulley recently offered to drop the complaint in exchange for a pay-off from the county. Commissioners rejected that request last week.
Bensberg denies any wrongdoing.
