A former Pueblo school superintendent will spend 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to vehicular assault and reckless endangerment.
Stu Yager's daughter and her friend were injured when they fell
out of the back of his pickup last May. Originally, he faced charges of DUI and child abuse resulting in serious injury.
He accepted the 30 day sentence Thursday, as part of a plea agreement.
Yager was superintendent of Pueblo's District 70. He was asked to resign from after the accident.
