NBA star Kobe Bryant's lawyers are asking the court to allow his accuser's medical records and sexual history for the trial but prosecutors say that would be unfair.
Byant's defense attorneys have filed for access to the woman's medical records because they believe they reveal a pattern of self-harm to get her ex-boyfriend's attention.
But prosecutors, the woman's lawyer, and a victim advocacy group say privacy rights are absolute and, therefore, her records should not be released.
