United and Frontier Airlines have applied for non-stop flights from DIA to Washington D.C.'s Ronald Reagan National Airport.
The 2 airlines have applied with the Department of Transportation to add at least one more flight to the airport that's only minutes away from the White House, the Pentagon, and other national landmarks.
Currently, United only offers direct flights to Dulles International Airport and Frontier is trying to add 2 more flights into Ronald Reagan.
They expect to know whether or not they get the addtional routes next month.
