A Douglas County judge has imposed a gag order in the case of an 18-year-old Western State College student, who faces multiple charges.

Sheriff's officials have recommended that Addie Kubisiak face charges of first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death and concealing a death.

Kubisiak openly wept when she appeared in court Thursday.

The Douglas County sheriff's office had earlier said authorities uncovered the possible remains of a newborn on the college campus in Gunnison.

Preliminary investigations indicated the baby was born in a vehicle traveling through Douglas County.

Autopsy results are pending.
