An autopsy on the body of Denver Bronco cornerback Darrent Williams shows he had no drugs and little alcohol in his body at the time he died.

The 23-year-old Williams was shot to death early New Year's Day as he rode in a limousine leaving a Denver nightclub.

A report released today by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner pinpoints the cause of death as a single gunshot wound. The medium to large caliber bullet struck the 23-year-old on the left side of his neck and exited on the right.

The autopsy shows Williams had a blood-alcohol level of 051. That's far below the legal limit for driving.

Authorities say someone in another car sprayed the limo Williams was riding in with 14 rounds.

Two other passengers in the limousine were hurt.

No charges have been filed.
