A man accused of using the Internet to try to set up a sexual encounter with a supposed teenage girl in Canon City is pleading not guilty to additional charges.
Scott Darrell Lippitt of Englewood entered the new plea Friday after prosecutors filed charges of possessing sexually exploitative material, and violating the provisions of his bond.
Lippitt is a former executive of the Quizno's sandwich chain.
He's accused of using a computer in violation of his bond provisions, by e-mailing a Quizno's lawyer about the computer Lippitt used at work.
Details on the other charge are not available.
The 47-year-old Lippitt is already charged with attempted criminal assault on a child, enticement of a child, Internet sexual exploitation of a child and Internet luring.
Lippitt was arrested last August in Canon City. Police said he was there to meet a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl he encountered on the Internet.
The person he was corresponding with was actually a police detective working with a multi-agency task force on Internet crime, police said.
Lippitt left his position with Quiznos after his arrest.
