A three-year-old girl who wandered away from home and spent a half hour in subzero temperatures will likely lose a fingertip to frostbite.
Molly Look of Steamboat Springs suffered frostbite on her hands and feet after she left home January 17th and tried to walk to her grandparents' house.
Her mother, who was sick and resting at the time, did not immediately notice she was gone.
A passing motorist saw Molly wearing just a shirt.
Her grandfather Bob Printy says doctors realized Molly was going to lose the tip of her right index finger after changing her bandages yesterday.
He says there's a concern that she could lose more fingertips.
He says the family hopes Molly can go home early next week.
