An 11-year-old girl claims she was sexually assaulted by a man, as three women videotaped it. She told El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies, it happened at the Days Inn motel on South Circle Drive.
Investigators are now questioning a 40-year-old man to discover more about what happened to this girl.
The girl told investigators, sometime before midnight Thursday, she ended up in a room at the hotel with four strangers--three women and a man. She said she was forced to have sex with the man, while the women watched and taped it with a video camera. This, she said, after the man and women took her into the mountains earlier and videotaped another assault.
"She gave us pretty good detail on what had occurred, description of the suspect, description of his vehicle and the locations that they had taken her to, and it appears so far that that evidence is being corroberated by the suspect," said Sergeant Clif Northam of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
When it was over, the girl says she was taken to a Wal-Mart and bought new clothes. The man then dropped her off at a safe house where she had been staying. She says she doesn't know the man or the women, but was able to lead investigators to the house of the man who is now under questioning. He hasn't given any information about the three women who may be involved, and so far isn't facing any official charges.
