Multiple Tornadoes Touch Down in Southern Colorado
Several severe thunderstorms moved through Southern Colorado Wednesday afternoon and evening, some producing tornadoes.

According to the National Weather Service, there were seven reports of tornadoes in a stretch from southeast Elbert County into Lincoln County. There were also three reports of tornadoes in Cheyenne County, and another one in western Baca County.
Law enforcement officials in Lincoln County say there are reports of a van trailer overturned, large tree branches snapped, a roof torn off a shed, and damage to a barn. Several power poles were knocked down. It is unclear at this time how many people are still without power.
Two foot hail drifts were also reported in Lincoln County.
No other damage reports have been released.

No one has said anything about the rotating cloud over the springs around 2 or 2:30 yesterday. I saw it myself.
