Skier dies after fall

A 17-year-old boy from Crested Butte has died after falling on a jump in the terrain park at Copper Mountain Saturday.

Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson says Asher Crank apparently fell on his head from a height of 30 feet.

He was flown to a hospital in Denver, where he was pronounced dead Sunday morning.

Crank skied competitively for the Crested Butte Academy team
