Increasing clouds and falling temperatures can be expected this afternoon, as a storm system approaches from the west. Rain and snow showers will develop along and west of I-25 by mid-afternoon, gradually spreading to the south and southeast this evening and overnight. The state ranks second behind Texas in most number of flu cases nationwide. With such a serious outbreak, doctors say you can do a few simple things to keep yourself healthy.
A flu shot is the first line of defense and is still recommended if you haven't receieved one. You may still get sick but the illness will be less severe.
Second, keep your hands clean, and avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
And, of course, avoid close contact with people who are sick.
