Crownover Sentenced

The man who drove the getaway car in a deadly shooting at a Colorado Springs Subway restaurant in 2001 has been sentenced to prison.

A judge has ordered 25 year-old Joseph Crownover to spend 22 years in prison.

He pled guilty in June to 2 counts of aggravated robbery.

Authorities say Crownover drove the getaway car for 2 other men during an April 2001 robbery of the sandwich shop.

17 year-old employee Blaine Steele was killed.

Angel Luis Lopez is serving life in prison without parole for killing Steele.

Joshua Kramer is serving 16 years in prison for his conviction on conspiracy charges.
