The Denver Broncos will gather for the first time as a team today since cornerback Darrent Williams was killed in a drive-by shooting after a New Year's Eve party.
The Broncos are set to report to Dove Valley to clean out their lockers this morning.
Williams was killed hours after Denver's playoff hopes ended with a 26-to-23 overtime loss to San Francisco.
Police say an S-U-V pulled up next to the Hummer limousine Williams was riding in and opened fire. Two other people inside were also injured.
Police say there had been a dispute at the nightclub several blocks from the shooting where Williams and others had attended a party. They say the argument didn't specifically involve Williams, and that it didn't get physical.
