El Paso County Search and Rescue says a man hiking near Palmer Lake died after suffering a heart attack.

El Paso County Search and Rescue says a man hiking near Palmer Lake died after suffering a heart attack.

Steve Sperry a spokesperson for search and rescue says the hiker was about two miles up a trail. The terrain in the area is rugged and steep.

When they finally got to the victim he had died.
