A beer festival in Fort Collins is getting a flat reception from some business owners who want to move the Colorado Brewers' Festival.

Several shop owners in the Old Town district say the July festival draws rowdy, messy crowds but few shoppers. Some 15,000 people attended the 20th festival earlier this month.

Some shop owners appeared at this week's city council meeting to ask officials to move the party. About 80 business owners signed a petition calling for the festival to be moved. Some say they close during the festival because of poor business.

A decision on where to hold the 2010 festival has not been made.
