A climber from Colorado who has been missing in a remote peak in China for more than a month is still missing and presumed dead.
Christine Boskoff and another Colorado climber, Charlie Fowler, were reported missing on December 4th after they failed to return to the U.S. The two are from Norwood, in southwestern Colorado.
An adventure travel company that Boskoff owned, Mountain Madness, says a body that was found partially buried on a mountain near the Sichuan border with Tibet called Genyen Peak is that of Fowler's.
Mountain Madness director David Jones says the climbers may have been swept up by an avalanche, as indicated by the position of how the body was found.
