The family of a Palmer Lake teenager, who drove off a cliff over the weekend, is asking all of us to pray for him.
Doctors say 19-year old Bryan Tremblay suffered a severe skull fracture.
He has a long road ahead of him. But, doctors are optimistic. On Tuesday, they say he moved his arms and legs for the first time.
"We're really excited to see him move his arms and his legs, being purposefully. Fighting us alittle bit which is what we want to see," said Dr. Roger Nagy, Medical Director for Trauma Services at Penrose Hospital.
Doctors say Tremblay also has alot of bruising and swelling in his brain. He actually has a monitor in his skull, which is monitoring the pressure to make sure he's getting good blood flow to his brain.
The U.S. Forest Service says the recent rain caused the washout on Mount Herman Road, where Tremblay's SUV went off the side of the road. That portion of Mount Herman Road is temporarily closed until it can be repaired. Repairs could start as early as Monday.
