President Bush has cleared the way for a new broadcast television tower on top of Lookout Mountain outside Golden.
Bush signed a bill allowing a group of Denver TV stations to build a 730-foot-high tower needed for digital broadcast signals.
The new law ends a decade-long fight between the broadcasters and local citizen groups who say the TV signals pose health risks.
The bill was sponsored by Colorado Senators Wayne Allard and Ken Salazar.
Some Jefferson County officials say the law is an intrusion into a local issue.
